Balancing methods for flexible and rigid rotors, final balancing of tu
There are many balancing methods due to rotor types: flexible or rigid. The company BALTECH invites to training courses ТОР-102 «Methods for dynamic balancing due to influence coefficients».
The main task and goal of dynamic balancing (e.g. of turbine rotors) is elimination of rest unbalance. Turbine rotor has to function normally after its assembly on-site.
After balancing with the new vibration analyzer BALTECH VP-3470 rotor vibration caused by rest unbalance must not exceed current tolerances and requirements. Usually for rigid rotors it is considered irrespective of balancing method, that vibration level is linearly increasing in view of resonance characteristics. Resonance characteristics can be measured and checked with the software for vibration diagnostics BALTECH Expert. For normal operation of flexible rotors (e.g. turbines) it is typical, that at any rotor speed rotor bending must be within tolerances.
After production of any rotor its static and couple unbalance is to be checked. For check of static unbalance you can use usual supports placed strictly horizontally with precision 0, 02mm with the precision laser level BALTECH LL-9110. Furthermore you can use any balancing methods and conduct final balancing with the vibrometer-balancer BALTECH Bal or the new vibration analyzer BALTECH VP-3470.
Balancing of turbines, compressors or pumps supposes dynamic balancing on a machine, and then - if there is an access to a rotor - rotor finishing (final balancing at operation rotation speed on-site) is conducted. You have to understand, that increased vibration can appear because of bearing curving, foundation defects or drive misalignment.
